Christina Casciato, CFE is a Senior Consultant with The Rhodes Group. She specializes in the analysis and quantification of construction related damages. Christina is skilled in the calculation of damages related to:

  • Labor inefficiency
  • Schedule delays
  • Force majeure events
  • Accelerations
  • Design changes
  • Contractor terminations

Drawing on her accounting background and over 5 years of experience consulting to the construction industry, Christina assists in the quantification of damages on a variety of U.S. and international projects. Her project experience encompasses both commercial and industrial projects and includes:

  • University buildings
  • Hospitals
  • Hotels and Convention Centers
  • Sports Stadiums
  • Power Generation Facilities
  • Industrial Facilities

Prior to joining The Rhodes Group, Christina was a Senior Consultant at LitCon Group, where she focused her practice on forensic accounting and damage analysis. While at LitCon, Christina assisted in the development of change orders for increased costs and analyzed planned and actual costs on a variety of projects. She also provided assistance on numerous insurance claims consulting engagements relating to losses caused by natural disasters, fire damage and chemical spills. In these matters, Christina assisted the insured to recover under various coverages including business interruption, extra expense and property damage.

Christina’s prior experience includes several breach of contract matters involving complex projects in the oil and gas and industrial sectors. Her forensic accounting experience also includes assisting in piercing the corporate veil on behalf of an electrical utility. She has assisted in the computation of lost sales, lost earnings, continuing, and non-continuing expenses.

Christina is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Construction Auditor (CCA). She holds a Masters of Accounting degree from Chatham University, where she also earned a B.A. in Accounting and Forensics.
