Bedant Bhutia, PMP, LEED Green Associate, is a Project Manager at The Rhodes Group. He analyzes and prepares construction claims. Bedant’s experience also includes the review and preparation of change orders and contractor claims.

Bedant assists in the analysis of schedule delays and disruptions on construction projects throughout the course of execution. He draws on field experience gained on international project sites, as well as his educational background in construction management and civil engineering.

While earning his Master’s degree at the University of Michigan, Bedant interned as a business analyst. In this capacity he assisted in the preparation of a multi-million dollar change order related to the construction of the Freedom Tower in New York City. During his undergraduate studies Bedant also held internships at Larsen and Toubro Limited and Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), where he gained field experience. While at Larsen and Toubro, Bedant supervised a team responsible for executing on-site operations including placing aluminum formwork and concrete for multiple floors of a 50-story residential building in Mumbai, India. At HCC he assisted in the execution of multiple field engineering operations associated with the reconstruction of a dry dock located at the Naval dockyard in Mumbai. Prior to joining The Rhodes Group, Bedant worked as a business analyst at a consulting firm, where he assisted in the development of a capital project management handbook and the implementation of a document management system for an electric power generation company.

Bedant Bhutia is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and as a LEED Green Associate.  He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Bedant holds a Masters of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Michigan, and he earned a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from SRM University in India.
